What you own
Recipes you create from scratch belong to you. Recipes you import from another site link back to the source — the source author retains authorship.
Visibility settings
Every recipe has one of three settings:
- Private — only you.
- Public — visible in your profile and Discover.
- Group-only — visible only in a specific group's feed.
The default is Private. Change it any time on the recipe page.
When someone forks your recipe
A fork is a derivative copy — the original is credited, the new version is fully editable by the forker. If you don't want your recipes forked, mark them Private.
Reporting infringement
If you believe a public recipe on Bragi is your copyrighted work used without permission, send a DMCA-formatted notice to dmca@bragi.fit. Include:
- Your contact information
- Identification of the work
- The URL of the allegedly infringing content on Bragi
- A good-faith statement
- A signature (electronic is fine)
We remove infringing content within 24 hours of a valid notice and notify the user who posted it.
Imported recipes
When you import via URL, we display:
- "Imported from {source}" with a clear link back
- The source author name if available
You can re-license your edits on top of an import; the original remains attributed to the source.
