Can I import a recipe from a link or video?
Yes. Paste any recipe URL, YouTube video, Instagram Reel or TikTok — Bragi extracts ingredients, steps, cover photo and cook time into an editable recipe in your library. Original source URL is preserved with a "View original" chip.
What happens to the recipes I save?
Every imported, saved or created recipe lives in your personal Table — searchable, scaled to any serving size, synced across mobile and web, and cook-mode ready with big-type steps and a stovetop timer.
Can I create my own community?
Yes. Spin up a private group for your family, or a public one for keto, vegan, high-protein, gluten-free or any diet cohort. Post meals and recipes, run challenges, keep streaks going together.
Do I have to weigh my food?
No — snap a photo and Bragi estimates portions and macros for you. Adjust anything in a tap. Voice and barcode logging are also built in.
Does Bragi handle meal planning and groceries?
Yes. Track your pantry, let Bragi auto-plan the week around what you already have, and export a deduped grocery list. Family plans keep everything in sync between household members.
Is fasting safe for me?
Bragi supports common protocols (16:8, 18:6, 20:4) with a live ring and body-stage timeline, but check with your doctor before starting a new regimen.
Can I use it for free?
Yes. Logging, the daily dashboard, community groups and basic recipe imports are free forever. Plus unlocks unlimited AI plate-reads, unlimited imports, adaptive macros, automatic meal plans and grocery lists.
What does the family plan include?
Up to six household members share one pantry and one grocery list, in real time. Each member keeps their own recipe library, food diary and goals — only pantry + grocery are shared. Everyone in the household gets the full Premium feature set for one price.
What languages does Bragi speak?
Seven: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Armenian, Russian. The app follows your device language. Recipes translate on demand so you can save a Turkish köfte and cook it in English.
Can I export my data or delete my account?
Yes. Settings → Data → Export downloads every recipe, log and photo as JSON. Delete Account removes everything within 30 days, GDPR-compliant. No dark patterns.
How do I cancel?
One tap in Settings → Subscription. Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. Cancellations processed by Stripe (web) or Apple / Google (mobile) depending on where you subscribed.
