From a URL (best)
Open any cooking site. Tap the recipe URL. In Bragi → + New → Recipe → Import from URL, paste the link.
We support any site that publishes Recipe schema.org JSON-LD — which is
almost all of them. We also keep hand-tuned scrapers for the popular ones
(Bon Appétit, Serious Eats, NYT Cooking, Smitten Kitchen, BBC Good Food,
Tasty, etc.).
From a photo of a printed recipe
Magazine cutout? Scribbled card? Open the Bragi camera → Recipe → Photo. We parse it with Claude vision and let you review every field before saving.
From a short cooking video
TikTok, YouTube short, Reels — paste the URL in + New → Recipe → Import from video. We pull the transcript, infer ingredients and steps, and link back to the original creator.
Bookmarklet (desktop browsers)
Visit bragi.fit/bookmarklet on a desktop browser. Drag the button into your bookmarks bar. One click on any recipe page imports it without leaving your tab.
If parsing fails
Send us the URL via the floating Feedback button — we fix parsers fast. You can also manually edit any imported recipe before saving.
Still stuck? Email support@bragi.fit — we reply within 8 hours.
